Manufacturing Services of CNC Machining Parts
CNC machining, is a manufacturing process that uses computerized controls to guide the movement of cutting tools and machinery. It allows for precise and efficient production of CNC parts and components by removing material from a solid block, resulting in highly accurate and complex geometries. CNC machining involves several steps to transform a digital design into a physical part:

Design: A 3D model of the desired part is created using computer-aided design (CAD) software. The design specifies the dimensions, shapes, and features of the part.
Programming: The CAD file is converted into a CNC-compatible format using computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software. The programmer defines tool paths, cutting parameters, and machine instructions.
Setup: The CNC machine is prepared for production. This involves securing the workpiece on the machine's bed or fixture, loading the required tools, and setting the cutting parameters.
Machining: The CNC machine executes the programmed instructions to cut, drill, or shape the workpiece. The machine precisely moves the cutting tools along the specified paths, removing material as needed.
Quality Control: Throughout the machining process, quality checks are performed to ensure dimensional accuracy and adherence to specifications. This may involve using measuring tools, such as calipers or coordinate measuring machines (CMMs).
Finishing: Once the machining is complete, additional post-processing steps, such as deburring, polishing, or coating, may be performed to enhance the part's surface finish and functionality.
Heat Treatment of CNC Machining Parts
Heat treatment before or after the CNC turning process can add hardness and strength, and improve machinability to a metal part.
Types of heat treatments provided by DJC and its European partners include:
Annealing
Annealing improves a metal's machinability by heating it to extremely high temperature and slowly cooling.
01
Case hardening
Case hardening hardens only the surface of the metal while leaving the interior soft and thus stopping the metal from becoming brittle.
02
Quenching
Quenching makes the metal extremely hard and is done post CNC machining. The CNC machined parts are heated to a very high temperature and cooled rapidly.
03
Stress-relieving
Stress-relieving is carried out post CNC machining. By rapidly heating machined part and cooling it slowly, the piece regains its mechanical properties lost during the machining process.
04
Tempering
Some metal alloy parts will be put through a tempering cooling process after quenching to reduce brittleness.

Common Measurement Units and Symbols for Surface Finish in CNC Machining Parts
The quantification of surface finishes involves specific units and symbols that represent the average or peak-to-valley roughness of a surface.

Ra (Roughness Average)
Represents the average surface roughness, measured in microinches (µin) or micrometers (µm). It's the most commonly used parameter for general surface finish.

Rz (Average Maximum Height)
Measures the average peak-to-valley height of the surface irregularities over a specified length.

RMS (Root Mean Square)
Similar to Ra but calculated differently, providing a slightly different perspective on surface roughness.
Preparing CNC machined parts for surface finishing is a critical step in the manufacturing process. Here's how you can prepare your CNC machined parts for surface finishes:
Cleaning: Begin with thoroughly cleaning the parts to remove any machining fluids, oils, and residues.
Smoothing Edges: Use deburring techniques to smooth out edges, ensuring a uniform application of the finish.
Ensuring Compatibility: Verify the compatibility of the material with the chosen finishing process.

Applications of CNC Machining Parts in Various Industries
In addition to the regular products that we already produce.
Aerospace Industry
In the aerospace sector, CNC machining has a variety of trustworthy applications.
Automotive Industry
CNC milling machines are frequently used in the automotive sector for both production and prototyping
Marine Industry
The marine industry builds water transportation that can be used all over the world, so it needs skilled workers. This is only possible with CNC machining.
Electronics Industry
CNC machining is used in the electronics industry for both prototyping and making actual products.
Defense Industry
CNC Machining Parts are used in a lot of different ways in these industries, from making complicated custom designs for the bodies of weapons to making the parts inside of missiles.
Healthcare Industry
Injection molding can be used to create some plastic components. However, CNC machining is the only method for producing metal components and any complicated elements.
Robotics and Automation Industry
By producing parts that fulfill the required functions, CNC machining offers the means to accommodate these possibilities.
Electric Vehicle
CNC machining is the only way to do this because it can make many parts in a single piece, which its predecessors couldn't do.
UAV (Drones)
CNC technology can be used to make parts for unmanned vehicles out of metals, polymers, composites, foam, and other materials.
