1. The precision CNC machining level has high criteria for CNC machining. The unqualified parts will suffer as a result of the inappropriate processing route. Roughing- medium- finishing are the three stages of processing technology. Roughing-finishing can be used directly for simple mechanical part processing. This reduces 2 tools required for processing, and saves time.
2. Is the profile in the region processed by the precision CNC components a real surface, a two-dimensional arc, or a spline surface? Understand the drawing needs before deciding on a viable route. This decides whether we utilize a two-dimensional or three-dimensional toolpath type. Both types are frequently necessary.
3. How to process precision CNC components with profiles, and if they need to be divided into steep and non-steep surfaces; in general, it is difficult for one tool path to handle two types of surfaces at the same time, such as in mastercam, surfaces with high profile precision, machining is appropriate for steep surfaces. Non-steep surfaces need parallel milling. In many circumstances, adding contours to limit the processing area and limit the z-height is necessary.
