Process of CNC precision machining of brass parts

1. Drawing design
Design 2D or 3D drawings according to customer requirements. Customers can also provide their own design drawings.
2. Prepare materials
Select suitable brass materials such as ordinary brass or special brass according to product requirements. Cut brass bars or sheets into sizes suitable for processing to ensure that the material can be firmly clamped by the CNC machine.
3. Rough machining
Remove excess material to make the brass parts close to the final size. At this stage, the cutting speed is high and the precision of rough machining is relatively low, but a large amount of material can be removed quickly.
4. Fine cutting
Use smaller tools and lower feed rates to finely machine the surface of the workpiece to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish. The cutting speed and feed rate at this time will be adjusted according to the surface roughness requirements.
5. Quality inspection
Use measuring tools such as vernier calipers, three-coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), etc. to detect whether the dimensions of the processed brass parts meet the requirements. At the same time, check the finish and roughness of the surface of the parts to ensure that they meet the design standards.
6. Surface treatment (if necessary)
If necessary, the CNC machined brass parts will undergo additional surface treatment, such as polishing, electroplating, oxidation, etc., to improve the corrosion resistance and aesthetics of the parts.
7. Packaging and delivery
The finished brass parts are cleaned to remove chips and oil stains, and finally packaged and ready for delivery. If necessary, we will send finished product pictures or videos to customers before delivery.
