Pressure casting, also referred to as die casting, is a casting process in which molten alloy liquid is poured into the cavity of a steel mold at a high rate of speed and pressure, hardens under pressure, and then is compressed to produce a casting. Rapid pressure and high speed are the fundamental characteristics that set die casting apart from other casting techniques.
The three main components of cast aluminium die casting manufacturing are die-casting machines, die-casting alloys, and die-casting molds, all of which are essential. In order to consistently, rhythmically, and effectively create castings with good external appearance, internal quality, and dimensions that satisfy the criteria of the drawing or agreement, the so-called die-casting process is the organic complete use of these three aspects.
